alot of things have happened over the trip to jiangnan... dun really noe wat to say about it...
mostly i've just like gotten to know more people... gotten to know people EVEN BETTER and see their true colours.
most of all, i learnt not to believe rumours, but to always approach the person to verify whether its true or not.
as in... *shrugs* don't really know. i'm just trying to forget the entire conflict and everything, hoping that things will go back to normal.
yup! hahaha, on a lighter note, i managed to know some nice nice people!!!!!!!!!! i'm too lazy to list them all out here. but if you see my blog, yup, thanks for making the trip such a memorable one!

and giraffe was looking chio today, as long as she doesn't open my mouth. ok, i know im mean, but honestly, giraffe is VERY chio. maybe i should talk her into wearing braces, den she'll be a SOOOPER big chiobu... but then again, not a competition for me...

den tiff brought her funkeh elmo!!! whee! well, technically its cassie's cos she gave it to cassie as a SUPER belated b'day prezzie... haha, the elmo has nice HARD eyeballs... den went to second level... so irritated ok? the rest of the sec 2 world were at the 3rd level, then we were stuck 3 feet under at the 2nd level, with the sec 1s. den tiff and susan were with us and i saw lcn... in his PINK shirt and high high pants.
den the rgss coach was doing the speech thingy... abit couldn't hear wat he was saying... haha, jeanting and i were like trying 2 make out wat he was saying... only could hear the... "especially the rgs squash team" and cand, jh, yl, belle and susan were yelling and cheering... DOTS...
den later lao shi let us sit down... budden jeanting couldnt'... so nice nice nice nice i repeat... VERI NICE me, stood up with her. Yeah, but jeanting finally gave up, so we went to sit down. and just like 1 minute later, the speech ended, then we had to get up...
and lao shi was super irritating today. maybe she's pms-ing but i tink pms-ing is a damn lousy excuse for juz pure bad temper, ok, this is weird coming from me cos i myself, suffer from SEVERE pms, once i get grumpy its horrible... haha, qing can vouch for that... ;)
but still... lao shi was still horrible... whisper only, then she'll snap at you and ask you to keep quiet. wl! abit she was scolding us, saying we shouldn't talk blah blah blah... AND later, she was talking NON-STOP with Mdm Thern. Throughout the entire performance can? And during the speeches and everything... can't stand her lar...
the sec 1's performance was... *no comments*. haha, jeanting, belle and i were like giving that pained expression and jeanting was doing her stupid NEXT thing. only one was nice, the rap thingy... got the bobochacha... quite nice lar, half-decent
and the sec 3s dance... ok lar, sec 4s model thingy... OK i suppose. juz realized that our school is really different from what people perceive of us. they think we're all nerds, but we have our bimbos, vain people and plain pure-breed bitches. haha, that one came from jiehui. it was that stupid girl who let her hair down, one side tuck behind the ear, the other side leave it flowing... so while she was slowly cat-walking, she was flipping her hair non-stop. yeah, i was just saying she was super vain and immediately jiehui shouted... "omg! she so bitch!" ^.^"
den later was the sec 2 thingy... omg! i tink our class's performance was SOOOOOOOOOOO much betta can? was much much funnier than theirs. juz ask giraffe to do her stupid DAYUNG SAMPAN, can laugh non-stop. Then her immortality thingy... DARN. i suppose we lost cos ours wasn't all that SINGAPOREAN, but on the other hand, singapore hardly had anything to be proud of. ok, this is mean, seeing that national day is coming, but face it, it IS a tiny red dot on the map, no resources. i shall not elaborate... had enough talk about it with yl during RS...

den yeah, we were SUPER hyper during the songs... kept doing the funky moves... doing can-can, the "wadeva man" move, and the stupid stand up for singapore... haha... then they were playing jeanting and my favourite national day song!!! the indian one... haha, i think that one is super funky and nice to jump to... *jump jump*
and i realized that the sec 1s are pathetic. they were sooooooooo un-enthu. just standing there and singing. how bad can you get? and somore we were commenting this year that the sec 1s seemed more enthu than us, shows how wrong somebody can get.

NANYANG - people think that they're all nerds nerds and nerds. and to top it all off, CHEENA. well, i guess it is technically quite true, seeing that they enjoy speaking in chinese, singing their school songs in chinese, having chinese houses. but on the other hand, i guess that they don't have much of a choice. here's an interesing part of nanyang people that you might not have known. Another social group in Nanyang are the BIMBOS. I saw plenty of them during C Div Nationals and according to Candice, alot of Nanyang squashers were bimbotic as well.
[definition of bimbo: A woman regarded as vacuous or as having an exaggerated interest in her sexual appeal] yes that was cheem, putting it in modern context, it would mean that their just pretty airheads, sometimes, not even pretty... just being plain bitchy and vain...
and dumb!
For example, today i saw this bimbo. well, technically it was not today, but for the past few days... ok, so she was from nanyang and she was just plain bimbotic. full-stop. her style of bowling, *gasps*, AFTER the ball lands on the lane and starts rolling, her leg will QIAO upwards! and she will hold it there ALL THE WAY until the ball hits the pins... and her ball speed wasn't really the fastest... so you can imagine the muscle strain. [but honestly, she DID have nice calves]
ok, next. she painted her fingernails... colour? purplish, blueish BLACK! wat kinda colour is dat? she looked like some witch! and seeing that she had bugs bunny tooth and a jutting jaw, it kinda fit the picture perfectly. and i was so tempted to cut her hair off, seeing how she shook her ponytail non-stop.
AND! everytime she walks back, she just grins the super bimbo look, and when she claps your palms... its SUPER niang niang qiao... BAH!
and there was another girl... exactly like her.
maybe the bimbos joined nanyang, hoping against hope that the chinese VIRTUES will knock some sense into them and hopefully some of the bimboism as well.
so it looks like you can't stereotype an entire school by saying that they're all cheena nerds, they will always be others... so DO NOT STEREOTYPE! im not stereotyping here, just trying to show how things are not what they always seem... although it does seem that the majority of nanyang girls ARE cheena nerds and bimbos
yeah, rg has been at the receiving end for alot of stereotyping, so i guess its something that we're all used to, but its still wrong! whee!
